Kate Gudorf (Deppeler)

Kate Gudorf is an expert in diet, nutrition and disease prevention. Kate specialises in weight management and weight loss, insulin resistance and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Kate is able to help her clients achieve and maintain their weight loss and health goals by using a variety of strategies, including goals setting, motivational interviewing and mindfulness. Kate employs a client-centred, individualised goal-orientated approach to helping her clients achieve their goals.
Kate also specialises in diabetes care and is currently undergoing continuing education at University of Technology Sydney to become a Credentialed Diabetes Educator.
Kate has experience working with a variety of clients across all ages and backgrounds for a range of health conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, food allergies and intolerances, sports nutrition, insulin resistance, PCOS, weight loss, eating disorders, and for general health and wellbeing.
Kate is passionate about nutrition and this passion is evident in her approach to nutrition. Kate is an avid believer in the connection between diet, lifestyle and disease prevention. She actively applies this belief in her practice, helping patients take a proactive approach to health.
Kate has undergone additional training in the use and interpretation of nutritionally-related genetic tests and she is able to conduct genetic testing in the office.
Kate is a media spokesperson for the Dietitians Association of Australia and she enjoys writing about food, nutrition and health-related topics. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, testing and developing new recipes and fitness and outdoor training.
