The Keyhole Surgery Centre is run by surgeons dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for patients. I t was the first centre to offer adjustable gastric banding in Australia in 1992.

Dr Ritchie and Dr Dawson are experienced upper gastrointestinal laparoscopic surgeons. Approximately 2400 bariatric procedures have been performed at this institution since 1983. This includes 1400 lap band procedures which have been performed without any mortality and with good weight loss outcomes.

We have an experienced office team including our office manager Lyn Condon, our physician and band adjuster Dr Caroline Mah and our dietitian Liz Beavis. Our anaesthetists, Dr Ronald Meyer and Dr Adrian Sultana are probably the most experienced bariatric anaesthetists in NSW and can cope with any challenge in this highly specialized area. All have many years experience in the management of bariatric patients and are always accessible to help if any problems arise. We believe we can offer you a quality service.
