Amber Sewell-Green
Special Interest in Whole Foods & Plant Based Nutrition
I have grown up rummaging in gardens and taking delight in sharing food with others as a symbol of love and affection.
In fact, to my knowledge my great (or perhaps great great) grandfather actually opened the first health food store in Australia, so connection to food and the environment feels natural to me. For me food is the lynch pin connecting people to the earth, each other and other beings. Food is my medicine and my connection.
Ines Astudillo
Special Interest in Childhood Nutrition
I experienced first-hand the life changing impact that nutrition had on my wellbeing. At the age of 5, after much force feeding by mother, I remember deciding that I had to start obeying her and had to start eating.
In just a couple of months I went from being a slight frame to being very overweight. In following years, my mother continued to force feed me whilst putting me on every diet she found to help me lose weight. By the age of 14, I reached 100kg.
